My Bread is Blacker than Yours

Hmm... Would you eat a piece of bread that's black in color? Well I did, twice actually...

I remember when Tati made the Russian black bread with caviar as breakfast for me, I kept thinking how can bread be black? (well despite the name it's brown actually).

Russian or Taiwanese, our food is not so different after all... I just realized Taiwan has a "black bread" which is blacker than the black bread.

Bamboo charcoal is becoming quite a huge trend in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Uses of bamboo charcoal includes but not limited to: cooking, deodorizing, water purification, food products and even clothing! Yes it was Taiwan's nanotechnology which bonded bamboo charcoal with silver to produce a very good textile.

Ok so I was strolling by this Taiwanese bakery by the name of Lavender, and saw this weird-looking bread. I couldn't help but read its introduction beside, and there it was - bamboo charcoal bread from Taiwan. Mind you, the pics aren't in black and white, the bread really is *that* black!

First bite was quite a delighted surprise for something that looked so unappertizing! Tomorrow I shall take my revenge, to force my country's BLACK bread down a Russian's throat...

I will show her my country's bread is blacker than hers... LOL...

Tati - I am evil :p
